Located in the heart of the Cathar Country in the Minervois , a few km from the City of Carcassonne , the Domaine de La Villatade is a real return to nature, to the Earth, to True Life!

After having worked in several countries and spent 30 years in business, after 2 years to find "THE" Place which corresponds to the project of the second part of our life, it is in September 2016, that we took over this field for which we fell in love with it.

And it is with great enthusiasm that we have launched major renovations and rehabilitation of the buildings and the vineyard. Passionate about biodynamics, we have done everything to revive this area and allow you to spend wonderful moments as a couple, with family or friends, and to leave rested, relaxed and peaceful. La Villatade is a place that can only conquer the hearts of those who stop there!

The Languedoc-style 17th century residence is a large square-shaped building with a central courtyard which gives it all its charm and authenticity. Located in the center of 130 ha of vines, olive groves, agricultural meadows, garigues and woods, the building has 5 lodges for 2 to 9 people, which can accommodate up to 28 beds. Each cottage is independent and has dedicated outdoor spaces.

An 18th century irrigation basin transformed into a natural swimming pool will delight young and old alike, with its 26 meters long and 6 meters wide . After a few lengths, a well-deserved rest will await you in a deckchair in the shade of pear trees and fresnes, only the song of the birds accompanied by the streaming of water in the small canal spilled by the stone capitelle will punctuate the atmosphere.

We wanted this place as a large family home, but where everyone will find their peace, as well as moments of sharing, warm and friendly.

It is with great joy and love that we prepare this place to receive you with family, friends or lovers and make you have a relaxing, warm and unforgettable stay.

And soon, a reception room will be offered to you for your professional or family events. With its high ceiling, exposed beams and trusses, walls joined with lime, this room can accommodate around a hundred seated guests.
